Commercial real estate and other lending experiences are a plus.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Florida-specific lending statutes, and the nuances of asset-based lending (ABL) and cash-flow-based credit facilities.

Job Duties:

•    Draft, review, and negotiate purchase/sale agreements and joint venture agreements.

•    Manage due diligence, including title, survey, and lease review, as well as collateral matters for C&I loans (corporate structure, lien searches).

•    Advise clients on transaction structures, collateral packages, and closing complex deals.

•    Support leasing matters as needed.

•    Manage and coordinate all aspects of C&I commercial finance closings.

Requirements:

•    Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with excellent academic credentials.

•    Admission to the New York and/or New Jersey Bar required; admission to the Florida Bar is a plus.

•    4+ years of transactional and/or commercial finance experience, specifically including C&I lending.

•    Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills.

•    Ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and collaborate as a team player.

•    Excellent writing and communication skills.

•    Familiarity with UCC Article 9 secured transactions strongly preferred.

•    Self-starter with attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $150,000-$220,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
