As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our automated testing infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create automated test scripts, design and maintain test suites, and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop UI and API automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize which manual test cases to automate based on impact and cost.
- Develop tools and frameworks to simplify test creation for the team, continuously enhance testing infrastructure, and contribute to the optimization of test strategies and processes.
- Implement strategies to parallelize tests and measure performance to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, MCP servers, and other LLM-based assistants) to accelerate test development, code reviews, documentation, and problem-solving activities.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer or Test Automation Engineer
- Experience with Playwright to create both UI and API automated tests
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with Performance testing tools such as K6, JMeter, or Locust
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
- Proven ability to develop and maintain test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality
- You set yourself apart with high standards and attention to detail
- English speaking and writing skills
