The Role 

In this position, you will be part of a 9- week Global Intern program, where you will work with other developers, architects, test engineers and product management in the development of fixed income data products.  You will join an Agile Scrum team focused on building and enhancing products while improving our testing frameworks, automation coverage, and QA processes.

How You'll Help Take Us There 

  • Understand business requirements 
  • Design test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for new and existing features
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts
  • Execute manual and automated tests as needed
  • Participate in code reviews for automation and provide feedback
  • Collaborate closely with developers and QA to triage defects and ensure high-quality releases
  • Contribute to improving test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and QA standards
  • Provide clear and detailed feedback on test results, defects, and potential risks
  • Participate in software design  
  • Provide time estimates 

What We're Looking for   

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree program in mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar from an accredited college or university. This internship is intended for students with 2-3 semesters to complete until their degree is conferred.  
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without employment visa sponsorship required now or in the future 
  • Familiarity or interest in test automation tools and frameworks
  • Understanding of various data structures and algorithms 
  • Exposure to JAVA programming language 
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) 
  • Experience with one of the following Enterprise Operating Systems: Linux, Windows 
  • Experience in development/willingness to learn Java based server-side framework (Spring Boot) 
  • Understanding of browser-based technologies/willingness to learn (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, AngularJS, AJAX) 
  • Curiosity/interest related to cloud technologies and cloud design patterns (AWS)  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and problem resolution skills 
  • Team player and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to function well in a competitive, challenging environment, and the ability to deal with changing priorities 

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $35.00 USD to $45.00 USD per hour. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
