Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced AVP, Software Engineer to be a part of Investment planning Technology team. Activities will include design and architecture, development, test automation, DevOps practices among others. You are responsible for providing the highest quality systems to enable our advisor and their clients to communicate and share information among others.
Responsibilities
Thought leadership for system design using Domain Driven Design techniques.
Develop and maintain software products used by Advisors and Investors.
Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product support.
Work with team members and product owners to translate business problem statements into technical solutions, then help to plan Sprints that deliver quality demonstrations.
Collaborate with business partners, Architects, Quality Assurance, Release Management, and the Change Control board to plan, design, develop, and implement solutions based on business requirements.

Requirements:
8+ years of professional hands-on experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and services in Java
2+ years of software development experience with the AWS platform
2+ years of working with Docker and Kubernetes
2+ years of experience with test automation
2+ years of experience with Engineering Team Leadership
Preferences:
Experience in developing cross-functional systems.
AWS Certification for Developer and Solution Architect Associate.
Experience with Github, or other version control toolsExperience integrating with REST and/or other services
Strong coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of relational databases and data models
DevOps automation skills including scripting and GitHub Actions.
Pay Range:
$140,475-$234,125/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
