AWS Data Cloud Consultant

Vertical Relevance is looking for an AWS Data Consultant, to join our team as a full-time employee and work remotely. This person is responsible for the end-to-end planning, building, and deploying of software systems. He/she will be able to drive the programming of well-constructed, testable code. 
As an AWS Data Consultant, you will implement technical solutions as part of a team for customer engagements. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, patience and organization skills needed to drive customer success.

About the Role 
Vertical Relevance is seeking an experienced AWS Data Consultant to design, build, and deploy scalable data solutions on AWS. This role involves working closely with clients to guide cloud adoption and deliver high-quality, production-ready systems. 
Key Responsibilities 

• Guide customers through cloud adoption and transformation 

• Design and implement AWS data solutions and data lakes 

• Manage AWS Glue Data Catalog and governance solutions 

• Migrate SQL Server workloads to AWS (RDS, Aurora) 

• Use AWS DMS and SCT for migrations 

• Perform SQL Server performance tuning 

• Develop automation tools and technical documentation 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to thought leadership 

• 8+ years of AWS data engineering or architecture experience 

• Strong SQL Server expertise (EC2, RDS, migrations) 

• Experience with AWS DMS, SCT, and Terraform 

• Strong communication and client-facing skills 

• Amazon SageMaker (Lakehouse, Catalog) 

• Terraform
