Job Description: 

As an Azure AD B2C Software Engineer, you will play a major role in the development and maintenance of our consumer-facing Azure products. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the seamless functioning and user experience of our Azure B2C applications. This role requires a deep technical understanding of Azure services, cloud-based software development, and user experience optimization and have the mindset of work independently to lead a business-critical initiative to transform, rationalize, and migrate critical business applications to Azure B2C. The team will lead the effort for this leading organization's cloud strategy roadmap, and the Developer is responsible for coordinating with internal business and IT stakeholders to contribute to the implementation of designs in adherence with the organization's strategy. 

Responsibilities:

 Software Development & Maintenance: 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain consumer-facing Azure B2C applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 

Azure Cloud Integration: 

  • Integrate Azure services effectively into the software architecture, optimizing scalability, security, and efficiency. 
  • Ensure seamless data synchronization between Azure services and the consumer applications. 

User Experience Enhancement: 

  • Continuously improve user experience by identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions. 
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback for iterative product enhancements. 

Security & Compliance: 

  • Implement security measures, access controls, and encryption to safeguard user data and privacy. 
  • Ensure that all Azure B2C applications adhere to organizational security standards and compliance requirements. 

Documentation: 

  • Document system configurations, development processes, and changes for reference and future optimization. 
  • Maintain records of software performance, issues, and resolutions.

Consultation & Collaboration: 

  • Provide technical consultation to internal teams, ensuring alignment with Azure best practices. 
  • Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to achieve cohesive product functionality. 
  • Custom Policies for Sign In, Sign Up, Reset Password, Profile Edit. 
  • Experience in Enterprise scope implementations. 
  • Ability to work with existing Custom Policies and make changes instead of starting brand new. 
  • User Journey and Sub Journeys  

Requirements: 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications are highly desirable. 

Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cloud-based software engineering, specifically focusing on Azure B2C. 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, cloud-based software architecture, and API integration. 
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, or JavaScript. 
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end frameworks. 
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, continuous integration, and deployment practices. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Demonstrated capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. 

Other: 

  • Eagerness to stay updated with the latest developments in Azure technologies and software engineering best practices.
