Job Description

In this role, you will play a key part in driving quality improvement across the Southwest Region by conducting claim audits, identifying trends, and partnering with leaders and adjusters to improve claim handling performance. Use audit results to provide meaningful feedback, coaching, and training that supports a culture of continuous improvement.
Serve as a trusted consultant to claims teams by influencing positive change, developing adjusters through constructive feedback, and helping improve quality, consistency, and engagement. Support the ongoing enhancement of audit policies, procedures, and methodologies while helping foster a strong quality-focused culture.

Succession and/or Development planning has identified a qualified candidate for this position.  However, the hiring manager is considering other candidates.

We are seeking a collaborative and influential claims professional with a passion for quality, coaching, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have claims auditing experience, along with a strong background in Casualty Extended Handling Bodily Injury (EHBI) and litigation claims as preferred. Experience auditing claims, a thorough understanding of audit methodologies, quality standards, and claims best practices.

Successful candidates enjoy building relationships, developing others, and helping teams achieve higher levels of performance. You should be comfortable providing constructive feedback, facilitating meaningful conversations around quality, and influencing positive change at all levels of the organization. Strong communication skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to turn audit insights into effective coaching and training opportunities are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle or understanding other potential property damage

• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills

• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for the most complex cases

• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department

• Recommends process improvements

• Applies increased experience in the Sr Adjuster level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, Litigation, etc.)

• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex/Catastrophic injury claims

• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of the most complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 70,100.00 - 121,475.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
