Support project teams by improving BIM workflows, maintaining Revit templates/families/standards, auditing models, coordinating consultant models, training staff, and piloting automation and AI-assisted design tools to enhance digital project delivery.
We are seeking a BIM & Design Technology Specialist to join our Digital Design team. The ideal candidate will help shape how our firm designs, coordinates, documents, and delivers projects through BIM, digital delivery, automation, and emerging technologies.
This role is ideal for a design technology professional with 3–5 years of experience who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving project workflows, supporting teams, and exploring new technologies including automation and AI-assisted design processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with project teams to solve complex BIM and digital delivery challenges while identifying opportunities for workflow innovation and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and improve Revit templates, families, schedules, shared parameters, BIM standards, and QA/QC procedures.
- Create training resources and provide workshops, office hours, and digital support to project teams.
- Evaluate and test software, plugins, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to automation initiatives, AI-assisted workflows, and digital innovation efforts that enhance project delivery and team efficiency.
- Coordinate consultant models, shared coordinates, linked files, and collaboration through Autodesk Revit/ACC/Forma.
- Audit models for quality, performance, standards compliance, and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications
Required
- 3-5 years of experience in Architecture, BIM, Design Technology, or Digital Project Delivery.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Design Technology, or a related field.
- Strong Revit and BIM workflow experience in an AEC environment.
- Experience with model setup, worksharing, families, templates, documentation, and project coordination.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, QA/QC, model health, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Interest in technology, innovation, automation, and continuous learning.
Preferred
- Experience with Dynamo, Python, Rhino.Inside.Revit, Grasshopper, Revit API, Power BI, or workflow automation tools.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, Solibri, Revizto, BIM Track, or similar coordination platforms.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud, Common Data Environments (CDEs), BIM Execution Plans, COBie, IFC, or ISO 19650.
