What you’ll do:

  • Lead generation and ownership of relationships with media organizations, broadcasters, publishers, and digital content platforms.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Drive end-to-end sales efforts by presenting platform and technological capabilities, use cases, market potential and commercial opportunities tailored to each partner’s content strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of evolving new media workflows across live and non-live content environments to help shape product-market fit.
  • Identify new market opportunities and help define go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Business Development, Product, and Marketing.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations, ensure successful project delivery, and help set expectations for future potential growth. 
Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of Sales/Business Development experience within media, technology, digital publishing, broadcast, or adjacent industries.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Ability to lead and project-manage across multiple functional areas and in different time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge and familiarity with the R&D process.
  • Flexibility to travel.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with news, entertainment, sports, or other premium video content providers.
  • Entrepreneurial experience in a startup or new business initiative.
  • Experience launching or scaling new markets, verticals, or product lines.

Compensation, Benefits And Perks:

WSC Sports US-based roles range in salary from $150,000 - $175,000.

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and education. 

On top of the base salary, the benefits available for this position are:
