About the Role: 

OLAPLEX is committed to quality products and combating diverted products which dilute our brand authenticity. We use Brand Protection technology on our products to enable tracking through our supply chain and tracing products to diverters.

You will be responsible for optimizing and monitoring OLAPLEX’s Brand Protection program for operational efficiency. By leveraging reporting and relationships with our internal partners (Procurement, Distribution, IT and Legal) and our external partners (contract manufacturers, 3PLs, distributors and technology vendors) you will synthesize insights from our track and trace and market monitoring data, ensure the accuracy of the brand protection data and address any process deficiencies.

A curiosity for identifying opportunities, the initiative to explore solutions, and a drive for results is critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and Technology

  • Develop implementation plans in partnership with IT and Operations to ensure Brand Protection programs are ready by target Go-Live dates at contract manufacturers, 3PLs, and distributors
  • Develop and monitor upgrade plans in partnership with IT, Operations, and 3rd Parties to ensure Brand Protection technologies are optimized with minimal impact to forecast plans
  • Implement Brand Protection operating standards for our supply chain partners
  • Build Brand Protection Operational Key Performance Indicators and Exceptions reporting to minimize errors
  • Ensure that updated 3rd Party portal meets Operational requirements for reporting and investigations

Monitoring and Analysis

  • Audit contract manufacturers, 3PL and distribution centers for compliance and develop Corrective Action Reports
  • Analyze reports to ensure track-and-trace data is complete and accurate
  • Leverage reporting to identify and investigate potential technology issues
  • Maintain open issues log with IT, Operations and 3rd Parties for troubleshooting and drive issue resolution
  • Identify and address opportunities for process improvement in compliance and accuracy
  • Create dashboards to report on the track-and-trace performance of contract manufacturers, 3PLs, and distributors 

Investigations

  • Become Operational Subject-Matter-Expert during Brand Protection investigations
  • Assist in the investigation of OLAPLEX product found at unauthorized sellers to identify the source of the product
  • Identify trends and build an action plan to mitigate risk and diversion
About You:  
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of working experience in supply chain, distribution, manufacturing or B2B/B2C operations is required
  • Previous experience in brand/asset protection, supply chain visibility, loss prevention, Brand Protection, or a related field is required
  • Excellent data analysis, investigative and interpretation skills with an ability to identify trends is required
  • Adept at building processes and infrastructure and architecting reporting
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated innovative problem solving and partnering skills; builds and leverages cross-functional partnerships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment
  • Must be able to travel to contract manufacturers, distribution centers, and distributor partners as needed; approximately 10-25% travel required.

Our Total Rewards: 

The annual base pay for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
