Department: Depositary, CSD, & Issuer Services (DCI)

Office Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM, HYBRID

*Candidate should be in greater NYC area in order to come onsite throughout the year


Position Overview

The Business Analyst will work closely with the Manager, Business Architecture, to support the innovation delivery life cycle within the DCI team. The role focuses on gathering and analyzing requirements, coordinating with product owners, and assisting in the planning and execution of development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Manager: Assist in representing the DCI team during cross-department innovation delivery meetings and initiatives.
  • Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable tasks for the development team.
  • Testing & Validation: Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, coordinating testing efforts, and ensuring feedback loops are established with system users.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying process improvements and efficiency gains within system workflows, working with system users to gather feedback for continuous development.
  • User Liaison: Assist in liaising with internal and external clients, ensuring clear communication regarding system updates, new features, and any testing efforts.
  • Client Reporting: Assist with reconciling monthly reports sent out to clients.
  • Documentation: Support the maintenance of DCI Atlassian spaces by keeping documentation, guides, and training resources pertaining to GTS systems updated and organized.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience business analysis, operations or project management, ideally within financial services or related areas
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines
  • Proven ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Proven versatility in understanding different markets and their system needs
  • Outstanding attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
  • Desire to innovate and improve upon processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to maintain professionalism with colleagues and clients
  • Commitment to providing the highest level of service for client satisfaction
