About Sent

Sent is an infrastructure for sending A2P messages across SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS through a single unified API. Our intelligent routing model automates channel selection based on deliverability and cost, ensuring lower cost and global reach without any channel-specific integrations.

We recently closed a $5.1M Seed round backed by Companyon Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, UIF, and CEAS Investments. We're hiring to build the best infrastructure to replace multi-channel messaging stacks.

About the Role

We're hiring a Business Development Representative to identify, pursue, and close strategic partnerships that bring Sent into new markets and verticals. You'll focus on building relationships with enterprise platforms, technology partners, and industry players where embedded messaging creates mutual value.

We need someone who can open doors into verticals and ecosystems we haven't reached yet. This is a hunter role with a strategic lens: you'll map new markets, build the business case, and drive deals from first conversation to signed agreement.

You'll work closely with sales, product, and leadership to identify the partnerships that move the needle. This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable operating independently, building from zero, and selling into complex enterprise environments.

In this role, you will…

  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities across target verticals - including healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, logistics, and SaaS platforms.

  • Own the full partnership lifecycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close.

  • Build and test business cases for new verticals, validating demand and fit before committing resources.

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of enterprise and platform partnership opportunities.

  • Work with product and engineering to scope integration requirements and co-build solutions with partners.

  • Collaborate with sales to create co-selling and referral motions that drive mutual pipeline.

  • Partner with marketing on joint go-to-market initiatives, case studies, and partner announcements.

  • Represent Sent at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.

  • Track and report on partnership pipeline, revenue impact, and market learnings.

You'll be a great fit if you…
  • Have 2+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales.

  • Have experience opening new verticals or markets - not just managing existing relationships.

  • Are comfortable selling into enterprise organizations with long cycles and multiple stakeholders.

  • Have worked with SaaS, API, or infrastructure products and can speak credibly to technical buyers.

  • Can build a compelling pitch from scratch and tailor it to different audiences and industries.

  • Are organized, persistent, and able to manage a pipeline with clear prioritization.

  • Communicate clearly and follow through - partners and internal teams trust you to deliver.

Nice to have
  • Experience in developer tools.

  • Existing network in one or more target verticals (healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, logistics).

  • Familiarity with usage-based pricing models and how to structure partnership economics.

  • Experience at an early-stage startup where you've built a function from scratch.

Our Commitment to You

  • Meaningful equity with high growth potential

  • Top-tier medical, dental, vision fully covered

  • 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Beautiful NYC workspace with daily meals and unlimited snacks

  • New MacBook Pro + Apple Studio Display

  • Fully comped Wellhub Gold or Equinox membership

Sent, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.
