ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Corporate Account Executive – US to spearhead our acquisition efforts and drive high-impact revenue growth. At Pliant, an AE isn't just a closer; you are a market-shaper. Your work will directly define our U.S. footprint, requiring a blend of speed, messaging precision, and consultative expertise.

Location: Remote (US)

  • OTE Range: $175,000 – $250,000 (Base + Performance-based Commissions).
  • Holistic Pay: Your starting salary is determined by experience, skills, and market conditions—because being Pliant means doing what’s fair, not what’s easy.
  • Ownership: Beyond cash compensation, equity and additional performance incentives may be part of your package, ensuring you share in the long-term success you help build.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Facilitate inbound leads and aggressively build your own outbound pipeline. You will manage the journey from first contact through discovery, negotiation, and final adoption.
  • Consultative Value Selling: Speak the language of your prospects—performance marketing, spend control, reconciliation, and cash flow optimization—to position Pliant as a strategic asset.
  • Strategic Deal Execution: Navigate complex cycles and orchestrate internal teams (Product, Finance, Legal) to architect win-win solutions for both the client and Pliant.
  • Market Intelligence: Act as a scout for our U.S. expansion. Feed real-time market feedback into our product development and pricing strategies to sharpen our competitive edge.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Pliant at industry events and within agency networks, building the relationships that grow our brand awareness in the American market.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Fintech Expertise: 3–5+ years of B2B closing experience, specifically within Fintech or payments. Familiarity with card solutions in high-volume verticals is highly preferred.
  • The "Hunter" Mentality: A proven track record of self-sufficient pipeline creation and outbound prospecting. You don’t wait for leads; you find them.
  • Complex Navigation: The ability to move effortlessly through multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving Founders, CFOs, and Procurement heads.
  • Process Discipline: Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce) and mastery of structured sales frameworks like MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger.
  • Urgency & Independence: You are a self-starter who thrives in a remote environment and executes with the intensity required by a high-growth startup.
  • Communication: Native-level English with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts with clarity and passion.
