Viaduct's business development team is looking for an early-career Business Development Representative who is eager to launch a career in business development, sales, or customer success. This is a true entry-level, outbound role. You will be the first conversation many manufacturers have with Viaduct: researching target accounts, starting conversations with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and operations leaders, and booking qualified meetings for our sales team.

We're looking for someone who is competitive, energetic, and coachable. You should want to work at an AI company and be looking for a real opportunity to prove yourself. Recent graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. You'll get hands-on training, work directly with leadership, and have a clear path to grow into a closing sales role. You will receive hands-on mentorship, dedicated sales training, and a clear path to grow your skills and advance your career within the company.

Position Responsibilities
  • Prospect into target accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn, and multi-touch outbound sequences.
  • Research companies and contacts to understand their challenges, AI solution opportunities, and personalize outreach.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book discovery meetings for sales leadership.
  • Maintain accurate activity, contact, and pipeline data in our CRM.
  • Support Viaduct at industry conferences and trade shows, including booth coverage, lead capture, and timely follow-up.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and share feedback from prospect conversations to sharpen messaging.
  • Track your activity and results to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly meeting and pipeline goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience. Internships, part-time sales, customer-facing jobs, and campus or athletic leadership all count.
  • Strong writing, speaking, and communication skills, and comfort picking up the phone.
  • A competitive drive and the resilience to treat "no" as part of the process.
  • Curiosity about AI, data, and manufacturing, and the ability to learn to talk about them confidently.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage a high volume of activity.
  • A coachable, self-motivated attitude and a desire to grow into a sales leader.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Nice to have: exposure to manufacturing, B2B technology, or familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools.
Viaduct Security and Privacy Responsibilities
  • Follow our policy and procedure documents related to security and privacy.
  • Follow the guidelines in the Employee Handbook.
  • Participate in new hire and annual training for security and privacy.
  • Treat data security and privacy as one of your primary job responsibilities.
