About the Role
We’re looking for a high-ownership Business Development Representative to join Meera AI and sit at the front lines of our outbound motion. You’ll work directly with the VP of Sales and the AE team to generate high-quality meetings and help define what great outbound looks like at an early-stage, fast-growing AI company.
This role is ideal for someone who wants real responsibility, hands-on coaching, and a clear growth path to becoming an Account Executive. Rather than focusing purely on activity metrics, you’ll play a meaningful role in shaping a world-class go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Execute outbound prospecting against a clearly defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Book qualified meetings for the Account Executive (AE) team
- Run multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn)
- Personalize messaging based on prospect role, industry, and pain points
- Qualify prospects using agreed-upon criteria
- Maintain accurate activity and outcome tracking in the CRM
- Provide continuous feedback on:
- Messaging effectiveness
- Common objections
- Lead quality and ICP fit
Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)
- Comfort with high-volume outbound activity, including cold calling
- Strong written communication skills and copywriting fundamentals
- High coachability with a willingness to test, iterate, and improve quickly
- Basic CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience prospecting into B2B SaaS buyers
- Exposure to account-based outbound motions
- Confidence handling rejection and objections over the phone
- Interest in growing into an Account Executive (AE) role over time
- Experience selling into or supporting:
- Insurance
- Banking
- Healthcare SaaS
Interview Process
- Round 1: Introduction with HR & VP of Sales (Hiring Manager)
- Round 2: Interview with CEO and/or COO
- Round 3: Final interview with VP of Sales, including a business case
