Description

Who are we?

Komodor is an AI-powered SRE platform that helps engineering teams proactively manage reliability at scale. By combining deep system context with AI-driven insights and automation, Komodor enables DevOps, SREs, and developers to quickly understand issues, prevent incidents, and operate complex cloud-native environments with confidence.

Core mission

As an Inbound & Events BDR, you'll be the first human a prospect talks to when they raise their hand whether they fill out a form, register for a webinar, or stop by our booth at KubeCon. You'll own fast, high-quality follow-up on the demand our Marketing and field motions generate, turning inbound interest and event conversations into qualified pipeline for the sales team.

We're looking for someone hungry, sharp, and relentless about speed-to-lead, a self-starter with excellent communication skills who can quickly understand the Komodor product, read a prospect's intent, and clearly connect our value to the problem they're trying to solve. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with Marketing on campaigns and events, and you'll thrive in the high-energy environment of a conference floor.

This position will be hired in the US **(Central Region)**

What will you do

  • Be the first responder for inbound leads form fills, content downloads, webinar and demo requests, chat with rapid, high-quality follow-up that protects speed-to-lead.
  • Own the event pipeline end to end: drive pre-event outreach to book booth meetings, engage and qualify prospects live on the floor, and run disciplined post-event follow-up on scans and event MQAs so no qualified account goes cold.
  • Qualify inbound and event-sourced demand against our ICP, set qualified meetings, and route or disqualify cleanly so the sales team's time goes to the right opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Marketing on campaigns, webinars, and field events sharing feedback on lead quality and messaging so each cycle gets sharper.
  • Layer in targeted outbound to high-intent accounts and recently engaged prospects to multithread and accelerate inbound opportunities.
  • Build and test creative reach-out strategies across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other social networks and communities (the more creative, the better!).
  • Understand our customers' needs and pains why they came to Komodor and how we can help deliver the business outcome they're looking for.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience, ideally as a BDR/SDR in a software or SaaS company start-up experience and time spent working inbound and/or event-driven pipeline are a plus, not a must.
  • Comfortable and energized by live events and conferences engaging strangers, qualifying on your feet, and following up at volume (some travel required).
  • A bias for speed and rigor: you respond to inbound fast, qualify with discipline, and keep a clean pipeline.
  • Excited about the B2D world, with a desire to speak with technical buyers and learn about solutions in the Cloud, DevOps, and developer tools domain.
  • Prior experience qualifying and customizing outreach to technical ICP Platform Engineers, DevOps, Kubernetes experts, etc.
  • Experience with lead generation and CRM tooling such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Salesforce, and Outreach.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, observability, monitoring, and APM tooling is a strong plus.
  • Driven, dynamic, high-energy, and hungry to exceed your goals.
  • Self-discipline, focus, and strong time management are your bread and butter.
  • Love the challenge of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Know how to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure.

What we offer

  • Great culture and perks.
  • Options & benefits.
  • Growth opportunities!
  • Wellness and Employee experience events.
  • Contribution to local communities by hosting, participating, and encouraging our employees to be better ambassadors.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
