About The Role

We are looking for a high-energy and dynamic Business Development Representative to create new business opportunities to help us continue to scale and deliver against our growth ambitions. This role will be responsible for outbound activities with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and can set the tone for the entire customer engagement.


This role is key for the success of our sales teams and can be highly rewarding financially. We offer a defined career progression path for all of our Business Development Representative to enable them to grow and develop their careers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential prospects over phone, email and social channels to qualify and set appointments for our account executives.
  • Collaboratively work with account executives to identify and target enterprise level accounts by leveraging intelligence tools
  • Create and maintain active engagement strategies to create awareness and education with prospects through informed, creative follow-ups in partnership with your account executive
  • Research, build out and develop prospective accounts within our CRM
  • Partner with marketing teams to support messaging, initiatives, campaigns and identify the best target market segments
  • Achieve quotas and KPIs 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 12 - 24 months' experience in a sales or sales development capacity within a software or technology environment
  • Prior experience cold calling and managing both inbound and outbound leads
  • Ability to quickly engage with prospects over email, phone, social and in person
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Familiar with sales engagement tools such as Gong Engage, Zoominfo, Nooks
  • Comfortability with CRM tools such as Hubspot or Salesforce
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving sales environment with a proactive approach to testing and refining outreach methods
  • Quick learner and team player
  • Determined, able to overcome objections and not afraid of rejection
  • Desire to progress a career in sales
  • Effective time management to complete objectives
  • Experience of exceeding results and other KPIs
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy team environment
