ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a hard-working and friendly Business Development Representative with fantastic interpersonal skills, relationship-building, and attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and securing partnerships to close new partnerships for our client company. You will play a key role in building relationships with potential customers and generating new sales opportunities. This role is fully remote (not limited to New York), but you must be based in the United States.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES​​​​​​
  • Research & Prospecting: Identify, research, and reach out to potential customers, engaging with prospects to understand their needs and qualify them as potential customers
  • Outbound Outreach: Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies to connect with key decision-makers
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM records with lead activity, interactions, and progress
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts and optimize lead conversion
  • Relationship Building: Conduct follow-ups with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points to tailor sales messaging effectively
  • Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special project tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 1-3+ years of sales or business development experience
  • Skilled in relationship-building, negotiation, and closing
  • Excellent time management and follow-up skills
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
