About this role

DataSnipper is revolutionizing audit and finance through intelligent automation. Since our founding in 2017, we’ve grown into a $1 billion unicorn with a global footprint in over 180 countries. Our impact is rapid, real, and constantly evolving — if you want to be part of a company breaking new ground and scaling fast, this role is for you.

We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Representative to join our growing Sales team in New York City. In this role you will identify and qualify prospects and proactively reach out to them. You will have your individual targets, but you will also be a valuable member of a larger sales team and that means you will truly learn and master the art of sales in a fast-growing scale-up environment. This is a ground-floor opportunity and a first step on the path to a highly successful commercial career at Datasnipper.

What will you do

  • Proactively reach out to prospects that fit our ideal customer profile by using a mix of different tools like calling, e-mailing and LinkedIn.

  • Book meetings for the Account Executives and closely work together on guiding our prospects through the sales pipeline.

  • Become a DataSnipper product expert and use this knowledge to effectively guide customers towards their desired outcomes.

  • Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities

What you bring

  • At least 8 months of cold calling or general sales experience — you know how to own the phones and spark conversations.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset ready to thrive in a fast-moving, ever-changing scale-up environment.

  • A process-driven approach to sales that keeps you sharp, organized, and always closing.

  • Strong communication skills — both verbal and written — to connect, persuade, and influence.

  • High energy and people skills with the drive to win and a positive, team-first attitude.

  • Full-cycle sales experience is a plus — but hunger to learn and grow is even better.

  • The ability to credibly engage enterprise stakeholders, uncover business challenges, and position DataSnipper as the solution that matters.

What we offer

  • Be part of one of the fastest-growing, profitable unicorn scale-ups in the Netherlands with a global impact

  • Daily company-sponsored lunches through MealPal.

  • An annual global retreat to connect with teammates worldwide (this year’s destination: Barcelona!).

  • Travel opportunities to industry conferences where you’ll connect with prospects face-to-face.

  • Unlimited growth potential in a fast-moving organization where you can bring new ideas and make a real impact.

  • Access to continuous learning and development initiatives to grow your skills

  • Flexible Time Off so you can recharge and come back swinging.

  • Pension and stock participation plan — share in the upside of what you help build.

  • An international, high-energy team that wins together.

  • A modern office in the heart of New York City — the perfect home base for hustlers.

  • Weekly happy hours & quarterly company-sponsored events!

  • Estimated OTE $100,000

Recruitment Process

  • Recruiter Screen (30 minutes, online)

  • Hiring Manager Interview (30 minutes, online)

  • Assessment Interview (1 hour, online)

  • Final Interview (30 minutes, on-site)

At DataSnipper, your expertise will directly shape the future of audit automation while advancing your career in a vibrant, fast-moving environment. If you thrive on innovation and impact — come build the future with us. 🚀
