The Sales team at Candid Health is entering an exciting new phase of expansion following our Series C fundraise. As we move into new markets and scale our operations, we are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to be at the forefront of this growth.
This is a unique opportunity to directly impact our expansion by building a robust top-of-funnel pipeline for our Account Executive team through strategic and highly targeted outbound efforts. At this stage of our company, you will not only be responsible for executing on our go-to-market strategy but also for helping to shape it. Responsibilities:
Own the Outbound Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic outbound plan to build a pipeline of new customers across various new markets. This includes crafting targeted messaging for cold calls, emails, and meetings with physician organizations, MSOs, and PE-backed roll-ups ranging from mid-market to large enterprise.
Generate and Qualify Leads: Use a mix of prospecting tools and your own research to identify and qualify key decision-makers and target companies. You will be heavily involved in the initial discovery and qualification phase of the sales process.
Optimize the Sales Playbook: Help build and refine the sales playbook for current and future sellers. Your insights will be critical in developing best practices and scaling our sales efforts as we grow.
Partner for Success: Work closely with Account Executives to seamlessly hand off highly qualified leads that translate into new business.
Leverage Data: Use Salesforce and other sales automation tools to track and report on key sales metrics. You will manage and prioritize your sales pipeline, maintaining accurate records to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
Be a Market Expert: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and the needs of our target clients in new markets. Continuously educate yourself on Candid's evolving products and value proposition to effectively differentiate us from the competition.
Requirements:
Results-Oriented Experience: You have 1-2 years of experience in metrics driven sales, outreach, and/or customer service environments (with cross-selling or sales components).
Experience as an BDR is a plus, but not required
Previous sales internship experience can be substituted for professional experience & recent graduates with sales internship experience are encouraged to apply even if they are under the total years of experience listed above

Location
We are looking for employees to join our in-person culture in our growing Atlanta, GA office. Our weekly schedule is 4 days in-office and 1 day working remotely.
Pay TransparencyThe estimated starting annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 with uncapped variable compensation estimated at $60,000. The total on-target earnings (OTE) for this position are estimated to be $125,000. The listed range is a guideline from Pave data, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc. Total compensation for this position may also include equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and employee benefits. Given Candid Health’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further note that Candid Health has minimal hierarchy and titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
