About the Role

Bizzabo is seeking a high-performing, high-energy Business Development Representative to join our fast-growing GTM team. You’ll be responsible for generating qualified meetings with senior decision-makers at Enterprise-level accounts through personalized, creative, and persistent outbound execution.

You’ll be part of a team reshaping how brands run in-person, virtual, and hybrid event experiences. If you thrive in outbound motion, enjoy figuring out how to break into complex accounts, and get excited about building pipeline from scratch and challenging the status quo, this role is for you.

This role is based in New York City and follows a 4-day-per-week in-office schedule.

What You’ll Do

  • Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation through multi-channel outbound campaigns, including email, calling, personalized video, and social selling.
  • Conduct discovery and qualification calls for both outbound-sourced and inbound demo requests.
  • Execute prospecting and account mapping to identify key personas and buying committees.
  • Use modern sales tools and AI capabilities to identify signals, research accounts, personalize outreach, and work smarter at scale
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing on ABM strategies and outbound messaging.
  • Become an expert in event technology and how Bizzabo drives measurable business impact for our clients.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed weekly/monthly activity targets and SAL quotas.

You Should Apply If You Have…

  • 1-2+ years of experience in an outbound BDR/SDR role, ideally in SaaS or Events/Martech.
  • Proven success-generating meetings with Enterprise companies and high-level stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with Apollo, Outreach (or similar) and social selling (LinkedIn, SalesNav).
  • Curiosity with AI tools to improve prospecting quality, efficiency and results.
  • Grit, curiosity, and a competitive edge - you love to win and hate to settle.
  • A bias for action, and the energy to lift your team while pushing yourself beyond the bar.

How to Stand Out

We believe the best way to evaluate BDR talent is to see how you prospect, communicate, and differentiate yourself. During the application and interview process, we encourage you to:

  • Do your research on Bizzabo, our customers, and our market
  • Reach out to the hiring manager or other Bizzabo team members to gather insights
  • Show us how you think about messaging, personalization, and breaking into accounts

There is no “one right way” to do this, but effort, creativity, and clarity of communication will stand out.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • It’s actually fun to work here! You’ll get to speak with team members as part of the interview process to verify this
  • Frequent workshops focused on developing core sales competencies
  • Structured and proven career path to grow into an Account Executive or adjacent GTM functions.
