Position Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers and a critical driver of Kouper's growth. You will generate new business opportunities by prospecting into healthcare organizations, qualifying inbound leads, and booking meetings for our Account Executive team. This is an ideal launchpad for a career in healthcare technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified meetings for Account Executives through outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and creative outreach)
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads, understanding prospect needs and pain points
- Research target accounts to identify key stakeholders and develop personalized outreach strategies
- Articulate Kouper's value proposition and handle initial objections with professionalism and curiosity
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in CRM (Hubspot)
- Hit weekly and monthly activity targets (calls, emails, meetings booked) while maintaining quality
- Collaborate with Growth team on campaign follow-up and provide feedback on lead quality
- Continuously learn about healthcare industry trends, competitive landscape, and Kouper's evolving product
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related role (B2B SaaS experience a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage decision-makers
- High energy, resilience, and comfort with high-volume outreach and rejection
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
- Genuine curiosity and willingness to learn about healthcare technology
- Self-starter mentality with high accountability and a competitive drive to exceed targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or interest in healthcare, health tech, or life sciences
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms
- Background in a quota-carrying or metrics-driven role
- Interest in building a long-term career in healthcare technology sales
