About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to research, qualify, and engage target accounts to drive pipeline and support Axion’s growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic, detail-oriented communicator with the ability to craft tailored outreach to VP- and C-level stakeholders. In this role, you will own omnichannel prospecting across phone, email, and LinkedIn, qualify leads, and partner with Account Executives to convert interest into qualified opportunities within large enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct account research and due diligence to identify and qualify high-value enterprise prospects.

  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies in partnership with Enterprise Sales to engage VP- and C-level stakeholders.

  • Own omnichannel prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn) to generate interest and build relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Craft personalized messaging that clearly communicates Axion’s value and aligns to executive priorities.

  • Maintain consistent, organized outreach to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, share market insights, and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of business development or sales experience in enterprise SaaS environments

  • Experience engaging VP- and C-level stakeholders at enterprise organizations

  • Familiarity with structured prospecting methodologies and pipeline generation best practices

  • Comfort with fast change and ambiguity
