As a Business Development Representative for Cayuse, you’ll work with some of the world’s most prestigious research institutions and other key industries. You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working in support of account executives, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and setting meetings. You’ll join an experienced Research Administration Sales & Marketing Team that provides significant career development and growth opportunities while you bring exciting, new cloud-based eRA solutions to market.


Responsibilities

  • Sourcing prospective client qualified meetings via outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Researching and customizing outreach messages to align to persona, industry and relevant prospect information.
  • Qualifying prospective client qualified meetings from inbound sources.
  • Gathering and documenting prospect requirements and conversations.
  • Strategic prospecting with  Account Executives in your territory.
  • Building trust and credibility with Cayuse team members.
  • Maintaining Cayuse CRM with both accurate and timely information.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Proven professional track record of achieving quotas.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, or similar technologies. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
