Department OverviewGlobal Services Business Intelligence, Strategy & Operations is responsible for providing strategy, analytics and guidance to support the Global Services and Senior Leadership with business analysis, data modeling and recommendations on key decisions. The group works cross-functionally with field teams, service delivery, new offer management, and other internal stakeholders on high-profile projects.
Job Description
Role Overview: This hybrid leadership and technical position within the Global Services BI, Strategy & Operations team requires a hands-on leader to manage a small team while executing advanced quantitative analysis. The successful candidate will transform disparate data into actionable insights, serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership and a champion for data integrity across the organization.
Experience Requirement:
Professional Background: Possess 2+ years of direct people management or team leadership experience within a broader 2+ year track record in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Technical Proficiency: Professional experience with Tableau, SQL, Google Apps, Advanced Excel; Python a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Direct a small team of analysts by prioritizing workloads and guiding professional development to meet global project milestones and strategic goals.
Strategic Dashboard Development: Design and maintain high-performance Tableau dashboards and visualizations that distill complex datasets into clear, executive-level business insights.
End-to-End Data Governance: Own the data lifecycle by establishing "sources of truth," performing rigorous validation, and collaborating with IT to ensure cross-functional data accuracy.
Advanced Data Querying: Utilize expert-level SQL and data modeling to extract and transform information from disparate platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
Quantitative Business Analysis: Lead complex analytical projects—including trend analysis and penetration rates—to identify strategic opportunities for growth and process improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global teams to gather requirements and influence decision-making by communicating technical findings in accessible, business-centric terms.
Innovation & Automation: Drive report automation and integrate advanced analytics, such as Python-based manipulation or AI/ML insights, to enhance the scale and sophistication of BI offerings.
Target Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2+ years of direct people management or team leadership experience within a broader 2+ year track record in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
