Business Operations & Growth Associate
Working alongside our VP of Growth and VP of Global Market Development, the Business Operations & Growth Associate will play a critical role in expanding Knotel’s membership base. S/he will develop a deep understanding of the ideal customer profile for each segment while developing processes and owning deliverables in support of commercial strategy for each market.
What You’ll Do
- Help to build and execute everything from broad sales strategies to tactical operational improvements
- Own key growth initiatives through strategic project management and partnerships with other business functions
- Implement ideas to improve sales effectiveness and productivity such as optimizing coverage, go-to-market design, sales process, and selling infrastructure
- Work directly with all levels of Sales and other departments (such as Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance), including our executives
Who You Are
You are an entrepreneurial, eager learner who is intrinsically motivated to master the complexities of New York City’s commercial real estate market. You want to be surrounded by smart, committed people to learn from the best, but you’re also ready for responsibility and influence. You are immaculately organized, excel at project management, and can tailor your communication style to match the energy of any audience. You’re always seeking a better solution and the next opportunity to drive change. Ambiguous situations inspire you to find clarity, leverage resources, and spark creative thinking. You also have the following:
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similar field
- A strong quantitative background, coupled with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Docs, and other technology solutions for streamlining business processes. Salesforce or CRM knowledge highly preferred, but not required.
- Real estate knowledge and startup experience (preferred, but not required)
- A demonstrated record of academic achievement and extracurricular leadership
