Join the Raytheon Digital Technology (DT) Data, Analytics & AI (DAAI) team and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and strategic alignment. As an Operations Lead, you will collaborate across directorates, manage critical processes, and enable the successful execution of organizational goals, ensuring impactful results.

What You Will Do

  • Represent DAAI on Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with DT teams such as Program Office, Business Solutions, Raytheon Functions, Strategic Business Units, and RTX Enterprise Services to drive collaboration and alignment.

  • Lead Operational Planning: Develop and track the directorate’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP), EACs, Headcount Plan, Contract Labor Plan, Distributed Software Plan, and Talent Development Plan.

  • Drive Financial & Resource Analysis: Collaborate with Finance to analyze variances in headcount, capital, and expenses, and create actionable plans with DAAI leadership.

  • Facilitate Key Meetings: Organize and lead weekly staff meetings, monthly operations/business reviews, and team offsites. Prepare meeting agendas, document action items, and track progress.

  • Monitor Operational Goals: Track operational goals, including the value realization plan, using Control Tower metrics to ensure alignment and accountability.

  • Streamline Communications: Deliver updates on upcoming deadlines, monitor action items, and ensure consistent messaging across the DAAI organization.

  • Support Organizational Readiness: Participate in Ops Leads Crosstalk, develop content for weekly Ops Readiness Reviews, and communicate relevant updates to the DAAI team.

  • Execute Strategic Projects: Align projects and activities with the mission and goals of the DAAI team to drive measurable improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience

  • Experience in Digital Technology, Information Technology, or related fields.

  • Experience managing operational processes, with a strong understanding of Agile principles, project structures, and cadence.

  • Experience developing and managing operational plans in areas such as budget forecasting, resource allocation, workforce planning, vendor/contract management, and software and technology deployment strategies.

  • Experience with enterprise-level tools for project management, analytics, or digital transformation (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Jira, or ServiceNow).

  • Experience standardizing processes and creating playbooks for repeatable success.

  • Proven track record of identifying process improvements and implementing measurable solutions.

  • Project management expertise (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, or related certifications).

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, document scopes and deliverables, and mitigate risks.

  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
