Position Overview:

The Global Sports & Entertainment (GSE) team is seeking a seasoned Vice President to lead business building efforts across the platform, with a distinct mandate to advance the next evolution of the business – GSE 3.0.

GSE 3.0 represents a strategic shift toward deeper product integration, expansion into emerging segment within sports & entertainment and full integration of AI-driven capabilities into how the business operates and scale.

This individual will serve as a strategic operator and innovation lead – driving GSE Designated engagement, accelerating client acquisition, and embedding modern tools, insights and processes into the core of the GSE business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GSE Designation Strategy, Training & Education

  • Lead the evolution of GSE designations as a cornerstone of GSE 3.0, ensuring alignment with industry shifts (NIL, creator economy, athlete monetization)
  • Managing the existing training programs: GSE University, Connect Series, and supporting the creation of the GSE Summit
  • Embed AI-enabled learning tools into training programs and learning about trends in sports and entertainment to drive engagement and scale
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and deliver education that enhances the GSE designated Financial Advisors capability in the sports & entertainment segment.
  • Equip GSE Designated Financial Advisors with tools, insights and playbook to build and scale their sports & entertainment practices

2. AI Strategy & Innovation Leadership – Core Pillar of GSE 3.0

  • Serve as the AI lead for the GSE business, driving adoption and integration of firm-approved AI tools across workflow, client engagement and content development
  • Collaborate with internal partners to pilot and scale innovation capabilities tailored to the sports & entertainment segment
  • Translate emerging AI trend into practical applications that create a competitive advantage for GSE

3.Strategic Execution & Business Management

  • Partner closely with the GSE Leadership team to executive on key priorities aligned with the 3.0 roadmap
  •  Prepared executive level presentations and strategic updates
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure disciplined execution

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience in wealth management, strategy, business development or related field
  • Demonstrated experience driving innovation, digital transformation or AI adoption within a business
  • Strong understanding of the sports & entertainment ecosystem
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 110,000 and 190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
