C++ Developer

NYC, NY

6+ months contract

Responsibilities:

Work on front, middle or back office platforms for leading investment banks

Involvement in projects such as building new trade capture systems or real time, multithreaded risk portals

Skills Required:                   

• 8-10+ years of experience in C/C++ programming and software development, testing, requirements definition and management, and systems design

• Knowledge of programming with UNIX is essential

• Background in object-oriented design, data structures, system and application programming

• Full life cycle development experience 

• Buy-side/Sell-side order management system experience is highly desired

• Experience with relational databases and multi-threaded programming, and knowledge of UNIX scripting languages is desired

• Previous consulting/investment banking experience preferred

• Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
