Capital Markets Analyst
Company: USD.AI Foundation
Location: Remote, but able to collaborate with teams based in US Eastern Time Zone
Employment Type: Full-time
Level: Flexible — Senior Analyst to Manager, commensurate with experience

About USD.AI
USD.AI provides AI infrastructure operators with strategic, non-dilutive financing facilities essential for their scale requirements. The protocol delivers non-recourse loans secured by GPU infrastructure and asset-level cashflows, offering capital providers exposure to liquid, transparent, and tradable credit products secured by income-producing compute assets. For more information, visit https://usd.ai/.

The Team
Our team draws experience from DRW, Deutsche Bank, Rockpoint, Nansen, Balancer, and other leading DeFi and TradFi institutions. We are Series A+ funded by Coinbase Ventures, Framework, Dragonfly, DCG, Nascent, Ethereal, and others. We are growing rapidly and have recently announced strategic partnerships with PayPal, Aravolta, and others.
We have no middle managers and move quickly from idea to execution. You will work directly with founders and senior team members on live deals.

The Role
USD.AI’s lending product is expanding its depositor base in response to demand from large institutional capital providers who want direct in individual AI infrastructure loans rather than pooled exposure through sUSDai. These bespoke transactions require a higher level of engagement — rigorous diligence, custom reporting, and ongoing investor relations — than our standard product.
This role exists to support that expansion. You will work directly under our COO, who leads institutional capital sourcing and investor relationships, and will serve as the analytical and operational backbone for every institutional transaction. You will own the materials, the data, and the process that allow us to bring sophisticated investors into individual loan facilities with confidence.
This is an exceptional early seat for someone with a structured finance or private credit background who wants to grow into a capital markets role at a fast-moving crypto-native firm. You will be close to live deals from day one.

Responsibilities
Investor Diligence & Transaction Support
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for institutional investor diligence on individual loan facilities — fielding questions, tracking open items, and ensuring timely, accurate responses.
  • Prepare and maintain deal-specific materials: transaction summaries, asset profiles, collateral descriptions, borrower overviews, and due diligence packages.
  • Draft responses to investor RFIs and diligence questionnaires, drawing on internal data, deal documentation, and input from the deal team.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and deal teams to ensure diligence materials are complete, consistent, and appropriately scoped for each investor.
Investor Reporting & Ongoing Relations
  • Build and maintain recurring reporting packages for institutional investors in live facilities — including portfolio performance summaries, collateral updates, and covenant status reports.
  • Track and manage investor reporting obligations and delivery timelines; own the calendar and follow-up process.
  • Support the COO in preparing for and following up on investor calls, including drafting agendas, discussion materials, and follow-up memos.
  • Maintain an organized, up-to-date investor data room for each facility, ensuring materials are current and accessible.
Capital Markets Operations
  • Support the COO in managing the pipeline of institutional investor conversations — tracking status, next steps, and open deliverables across multiple prospective and active relationships.
  • Research and synthesize market data on AI infrastructure financing, GPU compute markets, and relevant credit benchmarks to support investor presentations and internal strategy.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of pitch materials, term sheets, and product collateral as the institutional offering evolves.
  • Assist with syndication and co-investment mechanics as the product scales to include club structures and multi-investor facilities.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, structured finance, credit fund IR, or a directly adjacent role.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills — you can build a clear summary of a credit facility, interpret a loan agreement, and present data in a way that answers investor questions before they ask them.
  • Excellent written communication: you draft clearly, edit ruthlessly, and understand that every investor-facing document reflects on the firm.
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership over process — you build systems, maintain them, and don’t drop balls.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with limited structure; you figure things out and ask the right questions.
  • Based in New York City; comfortable being in-office.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in direct lending, asset-backed finance, or equipment / infrastructure lending.
  • Familiarity with institutional LP or credit investor diligence processes — you know what a sophisticated investor wants to see.
  • Interest in or exposure to crypto, digital assets, or DeFi — you don’t need to be an expert, but you can’t be allergic to it.
  • Experience with data rooms, CRM tools, or investor reporting platforms.
  • Exposure to syndicated lending or club deal mechanics.

What We Offer
  • Base salary: USD $85,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
  • Long-term token incentive package.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Health & wellness reimbursements.
