This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of structured finance, fintech, and technology. You'll work directly with company leadership, banking partners, investors, and some of the world's largest financial institutions to help scale Slope's lending platform. Why work with us?

  • You’ll get the chance to be an early team member at a fast-growth YC startup. We truly believe it’s all about slope — not where you start but how fast we are growing and iterating

  • We are growing insanely fast and are well-funded. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join our rocketship at an inflection point!

  • We’re a tight-knit, intense team, where you'll learn a ton and have ownership

  • Work with seasoned second-time founders

  • Help transition the massive B2B economy online and help small business owners thrive

What you'll do:

  • Manage the day-to-day on our existing warehouse lines, including facility drawdowns, monitoring, and reporting

  • Manage forward flow loan sale relationships

  • Work with senior team members to manage external relationships with Slope’s funding partners, investors, lawyers, and auditors.

  • Analyze and interpret the impact on various funding strategies (warehouse facilities, loan sales, and ABS securitizations) while working in the context of broader corporate goals.

  • Ensure accuracy and fidelity of loan and payment tapes, and month-end reporting.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline or automate processes to enable the company’s rapid growth.

  • Work cross-functionally throughout the organization to build the technology and risk infrastructure needed to support the broader capital markets function.

  • Serve as the capital markets partner for new product initiatives by assessing financeability and data/reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, working for an ABS issuer, or with a top structured finance accounting firm.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience in capital-intensive fintech is a plus.

  • Strong blend of strategic and tactical execution skills; capable of influencing strategy while also handling detailed tasks.

  • Excellent communicator with a focus on building relationships and alignment, both internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and thrive in dynamic, rapidly evolving environments.

  • Proficient in Excel with strong financial modeling skills.

Compensation: This role has an annual starting salary range of $95,000 - $130,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.
