As a Cash Equities & Equity Derivatives Group Trading Business Manager in our team, you will act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. This dynamic role varies across different lines of business, aligning with their priorities. You will assist senior management in coordinating the deployment of corporate resources to achieve strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing new business strategies, strategic initiatives, or platforms, aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)
- Support efforts to optimize business performance by contributing to key initiatives (fees, cost base, RWA, and capital utilization)
- Help identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks that could impact our ability to operate, such as legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, and extraordinary transaction costs
- Analyze financial performance, including expenses; assist in identifying productivity initiatives and support their implementation
- Collaborate with the business, Operations, and Technology in defining future workflows and supporting related technology and infrastructure projects to meet evolving market requirements
- Work with relevant external service/infrastructure providers
- Represent the business in respective internal/external working groups
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related area
- Energetic and dynamic in style
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior and global business heads
- Strong internal relationship-building skills across a broad range of functions
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and present conclusions concisely
- Good project management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with a logical thought process
- Equity financial markets knowledge
