Are you passionate about driving impactful change in the medical device industry? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Change Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring timely, compliant, and coordinated execution of design changes that affect the lifecycle of the MIM suite of software products. As a key controller in the change process, you’ll provide documentation and support essential to the software release cycle.

Job Description

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead and manage the execution of software changes, overseeing initiation, evaluation, and approval of changes. 

  • Coordinate stakeholder input and maintain momentum throughout the change process. 

  • Align release plans with resource reality. 

  • Enable product release by entering product information and SBOMs into multiple tools 

  • Monitor release progress weekly. 

  • Ensure software changes are according to company quality and regulatory policies. 

  • Manage these change processes for new and existing products. 

  • Manage dependencies on multiple releases. 

  • Distribute and synchronize required tasks after change release. 

  • Collaborate closely with Product teams, project managers, software engineers, and Quality and Regulatory specialists. 

  • Facilitate product reviews. 

  • Ensure products are released on time, on quality, and on budget. 

  • Participate in quarterly planning sessions with Engineering to define and prioritize on deliverables together with the Design Change Control team. 

  • Manage change notifications and distribute change documentation to suppliers. 

  • Investigate, suggest, and implement process improvements to streamline the design control process. 

 

What You’ll Need 

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher. Degrees in a technical or scientific field are preferred. In lieu of a degree, four or more years of experience in a technical field is acceptable. 

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, analysis, and communication skills. 

  • Previous experience related to project management and planning is preferred. 

  • Experience with and understanding of document control, design transfer, and acceptance activity is preferred. 

  • Experience with software releases is a plus.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $100,000.00-$150,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
