The Senior Associate will develop, implement and maintain channel marketing plans that deliver on core business priorities including key investment themes, products and franchises and will help capture advisor mindshare, build brand presence and create a positive client experience. The Senior Associate will execute Intermediary channel marketing strategy and collaborate with internal partners to develop and assemble marketing deliverables for a variety of initiatives across broker-dealer, wirehouse, bank, and RIA channels.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Intermediary channel marketing initiatives, managing client expectations through ongoing communication to all stakeholders regarding strategy, status and results.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership and product marketing to translate business objectives into effective intermediary marketing strategies and deliverables.
  • Write proposal briefs and project manage channel marketing deliverables from concept through execution, partnering with creative, editorial, digital, legal, compliance, and production teams that could include product launches, thought leadership initiatives, advisor education programs, webinars, events and more.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across digital, email, content, social, and event channels designed to drive awareness, engagement, and demand among financial advisors.
  • Work closely with events team for marketing promotion of sales driven and firm driven in-person and virtual events and conferences.
  • Develop campaign measurement and reporting frameworks to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization by creating clear KPI metrics to monitor and report results for channel activities.
  • Build strong relationships and seek ongoing feedback from Sales Channel leads/Sales Management, Global Relationship Managers, and Portfolio Strategy Consultants.
  • Adopt best practices and adhere to high standards to drive client satisfaction.
  • Assist the Channel Marketing team with other strategic initiatives and special projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8 years of marketing experience within asset management or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing programs for intermediary distribution channels, including broker-dealers, RIAs, wirehouses, and banks.
  • Strong understanding of intermediary sales and marketing dynamics, advisor engagement strategies, and channel-based marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with experience measuring and optimizing marketing effectiveness.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $115,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
