This role is focused on acquiring new small business customers, helping them identify the right technological solutions, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. Once the account is established, it will be transitioned to our Customer Success team for long-term relationship management. What you will do:
* Prospect & Qualify Identify and engage small business leads through outbound efforts, networking, and digital channels.
* Consult & Sell Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals that deliver value.
* Onboard & Transition Guide new clients through onboarding and hand off to the Customer Success team for ongoing support.
* Collaborate Across Teams Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.
* Track & Report Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and handoff timelines. Success Metrics:
* Number of new small business accounts acquired
* Lead-to-customer conversion rate
* Time-to-close and onboarding efficiency
* Quality of handoff and client satisfaction scores
What we expect of you:
* 2+ years in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the small business segment
* Proven success in new customer acquisition
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Familiarity with small business operations and challenges
* Experience with CRM tools and sales automation platforms
* Ability to work cross-functionally with onboarding and success teams in addition to external OEM partners
