What makes this role important at Ipsos?

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior commercial leader to join Ipsos as Chief Client Director for Google, one of our most strategic global client relationships.

This role sits within Ipsos’ Client Organization, whose mission is to build long-term, future-proof partnerships with our most important clients and drive measurable business impact. The CCD plays a critical role in shaping global client strategy, strengthening executive relationships, and ensuring Ipsos is positioned as a trusted partner helping Google navigate growth, innovation, and transformation through insights, data, and AI-enabled solutions.

This is a highly visible global role combining strategic advisory, commercial leadership, and relationship ownership, with responsibility for driving sustainable growth, expanding Ipsos’ footprint, and mobilizing teams across markets and service lines.

What you can expect to be doing:

As Chief Client Director, you will lead Ipsos’ global relationship with Google, one of our most strategic clients, acting as a senior partner and growth leader. You will bring the full strength of Ipsos to the client, driving sustainable commercial growth, strengthening executive relationships, and expanding our impact across markets, service lines, and solutions.

This role combines strategic account leadership with strong commercial focus and an understanding of how data, technology, and AI-enabled insights help clients transform their businesses. You will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global client relationship with Google and drive long-term partnership value and measurable client impact
  • Represent Ipsos externally and bring sector expertise, competitive intelligence, and forward-looking perspectives on data, technology, and innovation into client strategy
  • Build senior relationships across Google (including C-suite and new buying centers) and develop joint business plans to grow revenue and share of spend
  • Mobilize and coach international Ipsos teams, strengthening collaboration and developing future client leaders
  • Deliver strategic advice and insight-led storytelling that reinforces Ipsos’ trusted advisor position
  • Drive profitable growth through global account planning, service line expansion, innovation, global mandates and preferred supplier status.

This might be the job for you if you have:

Client & Commercial Leadership

  • 15+ years’ experience leading large strategic client relationships in insights, consulting, analytics, or adjacent environments
  • Proven success by growing complex global accounts and managing senior executive relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, negotiation, and growth strategy experience
  • Track record of identifying and converting new revenue streams and strategic partnerships

Strategic & Advisory Capability

  • Ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders
  • Experience connecting data, insights, analytics, and technology to business outcomes
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with executive audiences
  • Experience influencing global, matrixed organizations

Technology & Data Understanding

  • Experience working with analytics, digital platforms, or AI-enabled insight solutions
  • Confidence engaging clients on topics such as digital transformation, automation, customer data, and innovation roadmaps
  • Ability to translate technical or methodological capabilities into clear commercial value

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $310,000 to $340,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
