About the Opportunity

The Ward Law Group is seeking a transformational Chief Marketing Officer to lead the firm's next phase of growth.

This position offers three work-location options. The Chief Marketing Officer may work from our corporate office located at 7900 NW 154th Street, Miami Lakes, Florida; from our New York office located at 535 5th Avenue, Suite 2600, New York, New York; or remotely within the United States.

Candidates are not required to reside in Miami or New York to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates selected for the remote work option must perform their work from within the United States.

As the organization continues to scale, this executive will be responsible for driving brand expansion, client acquisition, and market presence across Florida, New York, and future markets.

The Chief Marketing Officer will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, leading strategic marketing initiatives that support significant organizational growth while remaining aligned with the firm's mission of serving immigrant families and underserved communities with excellence, compassion, leadership, and service.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Growth Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives revenue growth, brand awareness, client acquisition, and market expansion.
  • Align marketing initiatives with the firm's mission, values, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Create scalable marketing programs and infrastructure that support continued geographic and organizational expansion.
  • Identify new opportunities for market penetration, audience growth, and client acquisition.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a marketing organization of 15 or more professionals across Social Media, Digital Marketing, Paid Media, Traditional Advertising, Creative Services, and Content Marketing.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, measurable results, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top marketing talent while creating opportunities for internal advancement.

Full-Funnel Marketing Execution

Oversee marketing strategy and execution across:

  • Lead the development and evolution of a trusted, recognizable, and purpose-driven brand.
  • Develop compelling narratives that communicate the firm's mission, client impact, values, and community involvement.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all channels and markets.
  • Develop strategic relationships involving celebrity endorsements, influencers, and community partnerships when aligned with the firm's marketing strategy.

Analytics and Performance Management

Establish and monitor key performance indicators across marketing initiatives, including:

  • Partner closely with Intake, Legal Operations, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
  • Align marketing strategy with the overall client journey.
  • Collaborate across departments to improve lead conversion, signed-case performance, and client experience.

Multi-State Growth and Cultural Expansion

  • Lead marketing efforts across Miami, Orlando, New York, and future markets.
  • Develop market-specific strategies while maintaining a consistent brand presence.
  • Lead geographic expansion and new-market launches.
  • Develop effective campaigns for bilingual and multicultural audiences.
  • Ensure marketing activities comply with applicable legal advertising requirements and professional standards.

Budget and Vendor Management

  • Manage annual marketing budgets exceeding $10 million.
  • Negotiate and oversee agency, media, production, technology, influencer, and other strategic vendor relationships.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources and accountability for performance and results.

Executive Leadership

  • Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Translate marketing performance into meaningful business outcomes and growth opportunities.
  • Present marketing strategy, performance, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to executive leadership.

Qualifications

Work Authorization and Relocation

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and able to maintain work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ten or more years of marketing leadership experience.
  • Senior marketing leadership experience as a Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Marketing, or comparable executive-level marketing leader.
  • Experience leading and managing teams of at least 15 professionals.
  • Minimum of two continuous years of leadership within a single senior-level marketing position.
  • Demonstrated success developing marketing strategies that contributed to significant organizational and revenue growth.
  • Experience managing sophisticated multi-channel marketing programs and significant marketing budgets.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce, CallRail, Google Advertising, Meta Advertising Platforms, TikTok Advertising, Local Services Ads, YouTube Advertising, SEMrush, and Google Analytics.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience supporting geographic expansion and new-market launches.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using attribution, performance measurement, dashboards, and return-on-investment analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and experience presenting to executive leadership and senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration.
  • Experience serving bilingual and bicultural markets.
  • Experience within legal services, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience leading marketing efforts for faith-based, mission-driven, or values-driven organizations.
  • Deep understanding of Hispanic, immigrant, and underserved communities.
  • Experience working with celebrity endorsements, influencers, and community partnerships.
  • Experience creating and managing video testimonial campaigns, radio advertising campaigns, multi-channel social media campaigns, and community-based marketing initiatives.
  • Passion for mission-driven growth and community impact.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $180,000 to $200,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus opportunity.
