At Inductive Bio we’re tackling the challenge of making drug discovery more efficient. Chemists spend countless hours combining data, expertise, and intuition to create new molecules that are effective, safe, and work well in the human body. It’s a slow, complex process, and the patients are the ones left waiting. At Inductive Bio, we’re building an intuitive, collaborative platform, powered by state-of-the-art AI to help accelerate this process.

Our platform is already being used on dozens of active drug discovery programs, and adoption is rapidly growing. We are backed by leading investors at the intersection of technology and biotechnology, and our team includes world-class technology and drug discovery experts. After achieving quick adoption via word-of-mouth, we are now seeking to expand our reach and scale our impact.

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to work closely with the cofounders to help drive company priorities forward, explore new opportunities, and keep the organization aligned as we grow. This is a highly cross-functional role that combines strategic, operational, and execution-oriented responsibilities.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner directly with the cofounders to prioritize and drive execution on the company’s highest-leverage initiatives

  • Explore strategic partnership opportunities, managing early conversations and surfacing insights to guide decision-making

  • Own the creation of investor-facing updates, board materials, and key external communications

  • Manage cross-functional projects and large efforts, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution

  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses to inform company strategy and positioning

  • Develop and track company-level goals and metrics, maintaining visibility into progress and risks

  • Act as a thought partner to the cofounders, providing structured input and helping navigate ambiguous or complex decisions

  • Support organizational health by shaping internal processes, communication rhythms, and culture as the company scales

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in life sciences, consulting, strategy, or operating roles at high-growth startups or innovative biotech/tech companies

  • Strong understanding of the biotech and/or pharmaceutical ecosystem

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting executive- or investor-level presentations and updates

  • Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights

  • Collaborative and empathetic leader with a high degree of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness

  • Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable taking initiative and ownership, even in areas outside your prior experience
