Lyv is the infrastructure powering the next generation of wellness businesses.
We’re building a platform that enables wellness providers—such as medspas, health coaches, and wellness centers—to offer clinical services they currently can’t provide on their own, including blood testing, prescriptions, and peptides, all supported by a clinical team.
Founded by Harvard Business School MBAs with prior experience as founders in technology and clinical operations, Lyv is backed by top venture capital firms and is building at a rapid pace.
We’re still early, which means every hire matters. This is a chance to join at the ground floor, work directly with the founders, and accelerate your career by being part of a fast-growing startup.
The Role
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the CEO as a right-hand partner and force multiplier.
You’ll be one of our first ten employees. This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role as in: there’s no bureaucracy to manage and no calendar to guard (that’s what the Executive Assistant is for). What this role is, is a chance to own high-impact projects end-to-end, drive revenue, and operate at the highest level of a fast-moving startup from day one. It’s likely as close as you can get to being a founder, without being a founder.
Your first major workstream will be building our strategic partnerships function from scratch, working on identifying, pursuing, and closing partnerships that expand what we can offer our customers and unlock new revenue streams. Beyond partnerships, you’ll take on whatever strategic projects matter most for company growth, working directly with the CEO to define priorities and execute against them.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is sharp, entrepreneurial, and wants to be in the room where decisions get made. If you’re looking to start your own business one day, this is a great way to learn.
What You’ll Do- Own strategic partnership opportunities across wellness brands and other adjacent categories, from identifying targets to structuring deals to launching integrations
- Work directly with the CEO to define strategy for new projects and prioritize opportunities based on revenue potential and platform fit
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and operations to ensure projects launch successfully and deliver value
- Track and report on revenue and key metrics
- Lay the foundation for new revenue streams and processes as the company grows
This role is based in NYC (midtown) 3 days per week in office, the rest remotely.
RequirementsWho You Are
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed. You don’t wait to be told what to do; you find the opportunity and go after it.
- A zero-to-one builder. You’re energized by building from scratch, not managing an existing motion.
- Fast-moving. You have a bias toward action and know how to act without overcomplicating or overanalyzing it.
- A strong communicator and relationship-builder. You can build trust with internal team members and external partners quickly.
- Comfortable in ambiguity. You can operate without a fully defined playbook and make smart judgment calls.
- Commercially minded. You think in terms of revenue impact and know how to structure deals that work for both sides.
- Bonus: experience working in wellness or adjacent industries
- MBA preferred
Note: if you’ve only worked in large corporations, banking or consulting, and have no operating or startup experience, this is likely not a good fit.
