  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance of the claims management process.
  • Develop, implement, and refine catastrophe response protocols to ensure rapid, efficient claim handling during large-scale events.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for claims management, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with claims adjusters, evaluators, and other stakeholders to streamline and improve the claim segmentation workflow.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor catastrophe claims performance, adjuster response times, and overall cycle times during CAT events.
  • Generate regular reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of the claims management process.
  • Partner with external vendors, independent adjusters, and technology providers to ensure seamless integration of catastrophe response tools and resources.
  • Assist in the creation of catastrophe-specific training materials to ensure claims adjusters and stakeholders are prepared for deployment and execution of CAT response strategies.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., AIC, CPCU) a plus.
  • 7 – 10 years of experience in program management and claims adjusting, with a strong background in handling catastrophe property claims.
  • Experience in catastrophe response strategies, including adjuster deployment, surge staffing models, and scalability of claims processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
  • Experience working with catastrophe modeling, event response planning, and operational execution during major weather events.
  • Ability to work independently in high-pressure, fast-paced catastrophe scenarios, while effectively prioritizing tasks and making strategic decisions under tight deadlines.

About the Claims team at SageSure:

On SageSure’s Claims team, you’ll be doing more than investigating and resolving losses. From the ground up, you’ll be pioneering a best-in-class claims handling approach that leverages transformative technology to support our customers, agents and employees. As a part of this customer-focused, process-oriented team you will be the face of SageSure, helping our policyholders through some of their most trying times. Whether you hold a formal leadership role or are a key team player, you’ll coach, mentor and engage with those around you in ways that bring out the best in people and effect change.

You can easily distill complex processes in ways those outside the industry can understand and know the importance of aligning communication tools to customer preferences.  You thrive on setting and exceeding expectations, and know building relationships, not completing transactions, is the heart of the insurance business.
