Civitech is a remote-first company hiring within our current footprint of 27 states (AL, AK, CA, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NC, ND, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY); Civitech does have an office in Austin, TX.

This is a temporary role expected to run through November 2026. While there may be the potential for extension depending on business needs, candidates should apply with the understanding that the position is currently scoped as a fixed-term role.
 
The Client and Operations Support Specialist will support our mail program by ensuring seamless communication with clients, compiling and sharing critical information, and assisting with operational tasks to help drive Civitech’s mission forward. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of client engagement and operational efficiency, ultimately contributing to our mission of increasing civic participation and supporting progressive causes.

What You Will Do:

  • Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide timely updates on their mail campaigns.
  • Craft clear, effective messages to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Compile and organize information from internal teams to share with clients.
  • Develop and refine client-facing materials, including guides, templates, and reports.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions with new clients to gather job requirements and ensure a smooth start to their mail campaigns.
  • Assist with internal operational tasks and support the mail team in daily activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Mail Program Director to ensure all client communications and materials meet Civitech’s standards of excellence.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed to support the broader team.

About You:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, preferably in a political, advocacy, or nonprofit environment.
  • Ability to compile and organize information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with political campaigns, voter registration efforts, or advocacy work is a plus.
  • Experience in administrative or operations support roles is an advantage.
  • Committed to leveraging technology and data products to help Democratic candidates run for office and win, empower progressive causes, and increase civic participation.
