The Client Engagements Coordinator supports the execution of business development and client engagement initiatives for the Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry Groups. Working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, Client Development, and cross-functional teams, you will plan and execute engaging events, including large-scale conferences, bespoke programs, client dinners, webinars, and sponsorship opportunities, to drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and enhance market visibility while supporting the firm’s broader business development and client engagement objectives. You will also manage event tracking and reporting, deliver meaningful insights and ensuring that every client interaction creates impact.


Reporting to the Client Engagements Manager, the successful candidate will bring familiarity with the life sciences and healthcare ecosystems and a client-first mindset, while remaining sufficiently hands-on to deliver results.


What You Will Do:

Lead the Coordination of Client Events:

  • Manage logistics for client-facing events including client dinners, conferences, sponsorships, trainings, and webinars in support of business development goals.
  • Take the lead on all aspects of webinar planning, from conceptualization and scheduling to execution and follow-up.
  • Manage all event logistics, including venue and vendor coordination, invitations, RSVP tracking, materials, on-site support, and post-event follow-up.
  • Provide backup and on-site support for events and assist with related client development initiatives as needed.
  • Understanding of event, sponsorship, and CRM technologies, with a continuous-improvement mindset.

Sponsorships:

  • Working closely with the Client Engagements Manager, manage and oversee Goodwin’s participation in industry sponsorships. Collaborate with conference organizers to handle logistics and maximize the benefits associated with the firm’s involvement.

Event Tracking & Metrics:

  • Develop and manage targeted invitation lists in collaboration with attorneys and Client Development leadership.
  • Support attorneys in identifying and maximizing client and prospect touchpoints before, during, and after events.
  • Proactively collect feedback after the event and encourage follow-up activities. Report on return on investment.
  • Collaborate with Market/Competitive Intelligence team to review in-depth research and analysis of clients, prospects and competitors to determine a strategy for client and target outreach.
  • Track event data, attendance, and engagement using the firm’s CRM system; prepare post-event metrics and ROI analysis and recommend strategies to increase the initiatives’ overall effectiveness.

Who You Are:

  • BA, BS, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of marketing or business development experience in a law firm, professional services organization, or corporate environment.
  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact with partners, key clients, colleagues, and service providers with highly professional presentation.
  • Exceptional client service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to think objectively.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information, and be comfortable articulating where you need help.
  • Willingness and ability to work with a wide variety of people and projects in a collective and collaborative manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing assignments effectively.  Detail-oriented, organized, self-directed and able to manage multiple projects in a matrixed, fast-paced environment is a must.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and quickly establish trust.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Foundation, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM tools and databases is a plus.
  • Occassional travel.

The Target Salary Range For This Position Varies By Location And Is Commensurate With Relevant Experience: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
