The Role:

This role is an integral part of Piermont Bank’s client care team. It focuses on supporting clients from onboarding through their journey with Piermont and ensuring the best possible experience.  The Client Service Manager will focus on offering suitable Bank products/services that add value to the customer, performing branch/platform related functions and processing account maintenance transactions. The incumbent in this role will conduct business ethically, thoroughly communicating to current and prospective clients the facts and features of various products, accounts, and services that Piermont has to offer. This position builds mutually beneficial and long-term relationships by providing a positive customer experience, exceeding service expectations, and identifying customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on building operation excellence to support the client care team including improving existing workflow, problem solving for customers and creating efficiency for process and procedure.
  • Serve as the liaison between client care team and operation, and work with deposit operation to solve customer and workflow issues.
  • Serve as the dedicated resource for cross functional projects related to client care team.  
  • Create and make improvements to branch related policies and procedures.
  • Support and prepare for examination and audit requests as well as adopting any recommendations and fixes required.
  • Ensure proper documentation is in place and organized accordingly.
  • Provide training to client care associate and serve as a backup when needed. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of related banking experience, teller, new accounts representative, universal banker or equivalent.
  • Knowledge about banking products and services, comprehensive understanding of regulatory and compliance related to daily job functions.
  • Strong technical skills and experience with depository-related programs such as account opening, teller system etc.
  • Excellent customer communication and relation skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and work in a fast passed and evolving environment.

The hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
