About the Opportunity: 

The Client Partner, Core Accounts is a key role within our organization, dedicated to driving revenue growth by deepening relationships within our portfolio of small and mid-size accounts. The Client Partner is responsible for ensuring a seamless transition from sales to ongoing account management, driving product adoption, overseeing account renewals, and acting as the main point of contact for customer needs. This role is focused on leveraging deep client relationships to identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities, ensuring our clients fully benefit from our suite of products. The ideal candidate will excel in transforming client needs into revenue-generating opportunities while fostering long-term loyalty and satisfaction.

The Day to Day experience

  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of designated Book of business and identify upstream cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

  • Manage the initial onboarding for new clients, ensuring they understand and utilize our products effectively.

  • Develop and execute tailored Sales strategies to drive and optimize retention rate, account growth, product adoption and customer satisfaction. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, managing all inquiries, service needs, and escalations, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. 

  • Drive the adoption and sustained usage of our products throughout the year, developing strategies to increase engagement based on customer needs. 

  • Promptly attend to inbound orders, providing a responsive and high-quality service to encourage repeat business. 

  • Re-engage with inactive accounts (winback) by presenting tailored solutions that meet evolving business needs.

  • Perform administrative functions as required (invoicing, account updates, order processing) and in close collaboration with our Sales Support Team 

  • Work in close collaboration with our Finance and Legal Teams on deal terms approvals (pricing, payment terms, contract review) 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback within the Shutterstock CRM system. 

  • Manage and update in a timely manner your Pipeline in our CRM system, allowing you to accurately forecast your business on a monthly basis

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • 3-4 years of experience in Sales (account management or a client-facing role), with a proven track record of managing, retaining and growing small to medium-sized accounts. 

  • Ability to identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within a diversified portfolio of accounts 

  • A proactive problem solver who takes initiative in identifying and pursuing opportunities for account growth. 

  •  Excellent relationship-building skills with an ability to create rapport and trust with small account customers. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a talent for multitasking and prioritizing in a fast paced environment. 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence decision-making. 

  • Proficiency in CRM software, preferably with hands-on experience in Salesforce or a similar platform and Microsoft Office Suite.

The compensation package offered may vary depending on employment experience, skills, and knowledge. You may also be eligible for our generous benefits package including health, wellness and financial benefits. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of the location(s) below may differ based on the cost of labor, market, and additional factors.
     
    The pay range for this position is below:

        • 115,000 - 145,000 per year in New York

    Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
