About Waste Solution Services

Waste Solution Services (WSS) helps multifamily and commercial property management companies reduce and stabilize their waste management costs. We work between property owners, management companies, and waste service providers to improve service, control expenses, and simplify waste management operations.

Our approach combines cost optimization with personalized, hands-on client support, helping clients resolve issues efficiently while maintaining reliable service across their portfolios.

About the Role

WSS is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Client Success Manager to manage client relationships and oversee account performance. This person will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, taking ownership of issues from initial identification through resolution.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They should be able to communicate effectively with clients and vendors, solve problems independently, and ensure clients receive responsive, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships with property managers and other client stakeholders.

  • Issue Resolution: Take ownership of service issues, coordinate with waste vendors, and follow through until problems are resolved.

  • Account Management: Monitor account health, identify potential concerns, and proactively address issues before they escalate.

  • Service Coordination: Manage requests involving missed pickups, container issues, service changes, scheduling, and vendor performance.

  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary expenses, correct billing discrepancies, and improve service efficiency.

  • Communication and Follow-Up: Keep clients informed, set clear expectations, and ensure timely communication throughout the resolution process.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external service providers to deliver consistent client outcomes.

  • Process Improvement: Identify recurring issues and recommend ways to improve workflows, service quality, and the overall client experience.

Qualifications
  • Experience in customer success, account management, client services, or a related role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, competing priorities, and time-sensitive issues.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through without constant supervision.

  • Comfortable working with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software.

Experience in waste management, property management, facilities services, or a related industry is a plus.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent client service and understands that successful account management means more than responding to requests. The right candidate anticipates problems, communicates clearly, takes accountability, and works persistently to achieve the best possible outcome for every client.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Lawrence, NY. The role offers the opportunity to join a growing company where client relationships, operational execution, and measurable results are central to the business.
