Lead end-to-end Data & AI client engagements, own delivery and client relationships, translate technical outputs into business value, manage risks, present weekly value updates, and drive expansion opportunities while partnering with data teams.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Client Success Owner (CSO) to lead Data & AI engagements from ambiguity to impact.
This is a client-facing role that combines project ownership, technical fluency, and relationship management. You’ll own both delivery and the client relationship—ensuring work is executed well and clearly tied to business value.
You’ll work closely with technical teams to scope projects, guide execution, and translate outputs into insights that drive decisions and long-term partnership growth.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of Data & AI engagements, from scoping through final impact reporting.
- Serve as the primary client contact, building trust and leading communication, updates, and decision-making.
- Translate ambiguous needs into clear plans, timelines, and deliverables; proactively manage risks and blockers.
- Deliver weekly value presentations, translating technical work into business outcomes and ROI.
- Maintain clear documentation and capture “evidence of value” through insights, demos, and reporting.
- Partner with data teams to guide solution design and execution; contribute hands-on when needed (SQL, dbt, BI).
- Ensure strong project hygiene, team alignment, and visibility into engagement health.
- Track client sentiment, flag risks early, and prevent escalation through proactive management.
- Identify and drive expansion opportunities aligned to client needs and measurable impact.
- Lead final presentations, post-mortems, and support productization of reusable solutions.
🧩 Background & Skills
Experience
- 4–6+ years in analytics, data engineering, data science, or consulting.
- Experience leading data projects and working directly with clients.
- Strong track record of translating data into business insights.
Technical Skills
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling.
- Experience with dbt or similar tools.
- Familiarity with modern data stacks (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.) and BI tools (Looker, Sigma, Power BI).
- Comfortable working with data teams and reviewing technical work.
