Co - Op - Corporate Communications

We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.

We are currently seeking a Co-Op - Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Communications team based in our New York, New York headquarters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Corporate PR: identifying and distributing relevant daily press coverage for AMC Networks, its business units and its executives; drafting written materials; helping manage the production of all in-person and online employee engagement activities
• Corporate Marketing: maintaining branded merchandise inventory and corporate philanthropy database; assisting with various ongoing special projects
• Administrative assistance: daily general office assistance for all members of the department; maintaining various departmental tracking documents and subscriptions

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

• Currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program (graduation date later than May 2026) 
• Have proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams) 
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Have strong, proven potential leadership skills 
• Have excellent attention to detail

The base compensation for this position is $20.00/hr commensurate with experience.
