Job Description

Interplay Studio is the division of Interplay that builds new companies from scratch. We come up with ideas internally, diligence them hard, and when we can't kill them, we build them.

We are seeking Cofounders & CEOs to lead the launch and growth of new ventures. You will be responsible for taking a concept from a validated idea to a scaled production powerhouse. While you run the entire company, Interplay provides the institutional "back-office" to help you succeed so you can stay focused on building products, winning customers, and driving growth.

The ideal candidate thinks like a product person first. You obsess over what you're building, who it's for, and why it wins in the market. You know how to shape a product vision, bring it to life, and tell its story in a way that attracts customers, talent, and capital.

Interplay is a startup ecosystem that supports founders via venture capital, an accelerator, a studio, a platform of core business services, and a multi-family office.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a new company from concept to scale.

  • Define company strategy, vision, and long-term roadmap.

  • Own the product vision by defining what you're building, for whom, and why it matters.

  • Adapt the product and lead vibe-coding efforts.

  • Establish feedback loops with early customers to continuously sharpen the product.

  • Make the hard calls on what to build, what to cut, and what to do next.

  • Develop the go-to-market strategy and operational model from the ground up.

  • Define the product's positioning, messaging, and narrative — why this, why now, why us.

  • Identify target customer segments and build the motion to reach, convert, and retain them.

  • Recruit the team and cultivate a high-performance culture.

  • Create the materials, pitches, and content that communicate your product's value clearly and compellingly across channels.

  • Translate complex product capabilities into simple, resonant stories for customers, partners, and investors.

Who You Are
  • A product thinker. You naturally ask "what are we building, who is it for, and does it actually solve the problem?"

  • A storyteller who can articulate a crisp, compelling product narrative that gets customers, recruits, and investors excited.

  • A builder who has launched something before and has the scar tissue to prove it.

  • Willing to run through brick walls — with or without a helmet.

  • A relentless problem solver who loves winning.

  • Hyper-organized and thrives in unstructured, zero-to-one environments.

  • Someone who laughs often and leads with a great attitude.

Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience founding or operating a company.

  • Experience in product management, product marketing, or go-to-market strategy — a strong plus.

  • Ability to develop positioning frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and customer-facing collateral.
