Role Description
Are you passionate about building relationships, driving revenue, and learning the art of sales and negotiation? We're looking for a dynamic and curious intern to join our Enterprise Sales team at FreeWheel. This internship is ideal for someone who is eager to explore a career in Sales, Advertising, Commercial Partnerships, and Client Leadership. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting strategic initiatives, shadowing sales professionals, and contributing to impactful client-facing work. While analytical skills are helpful, this role is best suited for someone who thrives in external, people-focused environments and is excited to learn how to present, pitch, and lead.

Where can this student make an impact?
You'll be working with the best and brightest minds in Advertising Technology while we roll out strategies that will further our customers' marketing plans. Success in this role is characterized by a simplified, synergized strategy that allows our sales representatives to best serve our customers. Analytical skills are highly valued to be able to assist in evaluating client qualifications, behavior, spending trends and forecasting.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Sales Team Support: Assist the Enterprise Sales team in preparing for client meetings, pitches, and partnership discussions.
  • Presentation Development: Create clear, compelling presentations and reports to communicate commercial ideas, strategic decisions, and performance updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Commercial Strategy: Participate in brainstorming sessions and help synthesize ideas that support sales goals and partnership growth.
  • Reporting & Insights: Support reporting needs with basic data analysis to help track performance and identify opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Work closely with teams across FreeWheel to align on how sales integrates across the business.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills
  • Interest in Sales, Advertising, and Client Engagement
  • Strong communication, notetaking, organization and presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Suite experience and skills with a focus on PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Familiarity with conducting marketing research
  • Curiosity about media, technology, and commercial strategy
  • Familiarity with AI tools for notetaking such as Copilot is a plus
  • Preferred Majors: Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar backgrounds

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
