- Participates in the strategic planning that contribute to our overall product roadmap
- Draft and manage requirements and other supporting business documentation
- Gain a deep understanding of how targeted advertising is utilized in premium video
- Learn about advertising industry and how targeting plays a role
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
- Student will help resolve audience targeting issues for freewheel customers
- Student will be expected to analyze data and make data driven product decisions
- Student will be expected to be vocal and point out bottlenecks and issues with current processes
Where can this student make an impact?
- As part of identity team at Freewheel, successful candidate will, help define and build the identity product that will become a benchmark in Ad-tech industry
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the product, data science, design, and engineering teams to help drive product development
- Provide data driven insights to help drive product decisions
- Write and manage documentation such as PRD (product requirement document), wireframes etc.
- Be a member and learn from the world-class FreeWheel product team.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
- SQL ninja, good communicator (written and verbal), detailed oriented, curious about ad-tech and willing to learn
- Preferred Majors: Information Systems, Data science, Computer science, business (technically focused)
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a relevant field at a U.S.-based college or university, with a strong academic record.
- Rising second year Master's or PhD student preferred (graduating Winter 2026-Spring 2028).
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
